STROKE was founded in 2009 to promote a fresh new approach on art, design and the urban lifestyle of the 21st century to a large audience. We fight the outdated separation of so called „high art“ and „low art“ (related with pop culture). The intersection, and the influence of the various forms of creative expression such as art, design, music or fashion on each other, represent the most significant cultural change of the 21st century - and builds the backbone for STROKE.
